The 811 5K is a public awareness event that hopes to spread the word about safe digging and damage prevention awareness. \nThis is a family friendly event so bring your strollers or pets! A *free* kids run (for ages 10 and under) is scheduled immediately after the main race. T-shirts\, swag bags\, water and snacks provided. All proceeds are donated to the Twin Cities Firefighters Operation Warm\, a non-profit organization that provides new\, warm winter coats for Minnesota children in need.
