About Us

Underground damages are a risk for all Minnesota communities, homeowners and excavators. We began as a means to protect those who live or work near underground utilities.

Power to communicate, no authority to legislate.
Power to educate, no authority to mandate.

Mission

The Minnesota Regional Common Ground Alliance (MNCGA) is a member-driven association dedicated to ensuring public safety by identifying and promoting damage prevention best practices. In the spirit of shared responsibility, MNCGA welcomes all stakeholders who want to contribute to the world of damage prevention.

Vision

To build shared partnerships committed to the creation, promotion and implementation of damage prevention best practices.
